Why are they so pricey?!? The flint has my attention but I don't want to spend that kind of cash! seriously, 300.00?

What do you think would be a fair price for it?

I'm not interested in the Flint at all and don't know much about it but
it seems that you'd be getting a top notch Reverb and a top notch
Tremolo in one box.

If you think about it that way, $150 a piece isn't bad at all and comparable
to what the pedals would sell separately for form Boss, Line6, TC Electronics etc.. :idk:

Yeah. They are PRICEY......but the shit they make tends to be at the top for quality of whatever effect it is....and it's usually a swiss army knife kinda thing with more than one effect.

I'm not a big fan of Strymon stuff, but I think their price are OK compared to other stuff on the market.

I think they're pricey because they do their homework. Effort = expense.

Yo what's up in Red Stick???

The EL CAP is one of my keeper for life pedals and when you play a Strymon you'll see why they so HOTTT... The build quality and R&D is what costs... The sound is worth it though...

I've had 2 El Caps and a TimeLine and I enjoyed them all while I had them and they served their purpose for me. Would I buy them again? No, probably not. They just don't fit my setup or amp anymore. Where they great tools, and worth it? Yes. They were very VERY fun to play and sound amazing recorded direct in

I'm tempted, I'll more than likely get it. I just realized last night that I bought the Dr. S Reverberator new many years back and it was a pretty penny too, and that was just for reverb. The thing is, I love that pedal to death, it is one of my keeper for life pedals.

It's hot as hell here in the Red Stick.. I was just in South Austin a few weeks ago. Is there still a cricket infestation? I went to firefest.. I think this was the first year they did it. Did you happen to check it out?

Like all digital technology, will be obsolete soon and you´ll find similar stuff much cheaper sooner than you think
I decided long ago not to buy digital pedals. last one I bought was a dd-20, by the way , still in my board.

Using this logic you should wait until until you are E-(l+x) old, wherein E is the average life expectancy for the population in your region, l is the warranty period on the given piece of equipment, and x is the number of years you will spend disabled, stricken by infirmity, or otherwise incapable of rocking out; for the best price.
