Got a great deal on a Route 66 OD/Compressor. $40. The first version. Never used a compressor, and I don't really need another OD but it layers nicely with my Dead Hipster, and pushes my Super Lead even further when it's cranked. Anything I should know about these?

If the switch goes there are easy fixes for them, basically you wire a jumper over the bottom of the switch (visual sound will send you a diagram.

Also Sometimes these can add a bunch of noise if you run them in front of germ fuzzes something about the noise reduction circuit

Forgive my ignorance, would that include an NYC Big Muff?

NYC Big muff should be fine, I had a wicker muff on a board with my jeckyl and hyde for a while and they got along OK

Yeah, but if I don't get a cool offer or nice trade I'll keep it. I really only got it for the compressor, and because I helped a friend who needed the cash.

I'd rather have a compressor that doesn't take up so much space on my board.

The OD is pretty cool, but I have a bunch of OD pedals, not to mention I run through a plexi.

yeah I was in the same boat
comp was pretty good
but the OD didn't deserve to be on my board,
I ended up getting a barge concepts RC-2 it is a great comp
