Peavey Roadmaster? Should I? Yeah? Probably?

Post by dallasisacowboy »

My buddy is selling a Peavey Roadmaster for 175 bucks, should I buy it? Should I? I'm seriously considering it. I mean 12 tubes... that must be expensive in the long run but it sounds so awesome. So, so awesome. But is it worth the price to maintain? Thanks for your time, I need all the help I can get.

And sorry if I'm acting like a five year old. I'm just excited.

I had the 76 og roadmaster. It was loud as hell and awesome, but too heavy for me to lug around on tour. I had it sitting on top of a avatar 2 12" and it looked pretty silly being that the head was almost bigger then the cab. $175 is a great deal. I sold mine for $300

Yea they are painfully clean amps. If your a pedal feind like most of us... It's a win-win.

As long as you can deal with 12 tubes, I say do it :omg:.

It's a very good price! I <3 unnecessarily loud clean amps.

It's alright, even if he didn't sell it to me. One day, I'll get my hands on an old Peavey head and I will love it all the more. SO the search continues.
