Heeeeeeey there.
What do you think?
Mine would most likely have a white body, but everything else would be the same. You'll notice there is only one pickup, but I kept the Tele bridge.

Das cute.
Maybe you could get something engraved into the blank section of the bridge.

I just put together a Warmoth Telemaster/Jazzcaster in Vintage White with a Parchment pick guard!
I was seriously considering going with a neck only P-90 setup but couldn't find a solid bridge with no pickup hole.
I ended up putting a Dimarzio Super Distortion T in the bridge and a Harmonic Design Z-90 in the neck
Have you actually found a bridge like that?
Here is my mock up: (it's more white IRL)

I haven't found a bridge like that, no. In fact, I didn't really think it would look that good (only saw it in my head until I made the mock-up), but it's pretty neat. I searched around for one today, but I don't know if you can buy them before they are cut. Someone mentioned Callaham could probably do it.
Also not sure about the "Pre-CBS" headstock... it's either that or a regular Tele headstock.
MEC, how did yours turn out?

Wot, I didn't notice only one pickup?
(Needs a bridge pickup and no binding, otherwise like very much.)

If it had a bridge pup and maple neck it'd be the guitar of my dreams. I wanna get that Andrew does hair dude to do one when I have scrap.
Block inlays and all. My dream guitar. Shit is sexy. Nice.

Here's my original idea... mostly the Fender Modern Player Jaguar, but without the Strat jack, different neck and knobs.
I like Teles, but mostly for how they look. Their sound doesn't suit me at all... P-90s and Jazzmaster pickups are where I go.

That JM with p90s plays great. I'm not sure how I'd fare with one pup but I love the idea. I'd definitely go neck if I did.

The wood is too dark for my taste... would look better in cherry with a black pickguard and an humbucker (with a tap coil option) in the bridge.

Yeah... the whole idea stems from wanting a very VERY minimal guitar that I would use for live shows and take on tour (although the cost would defeat the purpose).
Jazzmaster body, P-90 neck pickup, no paint, 1 volume, 1 tone. Probably should have dot inlays instead of blocks for minimalism.
