http://www.fender.com/products/search.p ... 0960215021ok I love the way this thing looks
the orchestra bod and strat headstock are flipping sweet
3grand MSRP Seems steep though for a company with minimal acoustic heritage

I've never heard a fender acoustic that really wowed me, but thats just me, looks pretty cool though. It would be better if the headstock wood matched the body, at least on the surface.

I like the plain headstock, but that is from years of playing strats
just looks normal to me

I hear ya, ascetics are important to those who play it, different strokes and all that. Personally ive always been a fan of fender style headstocks on their electrics but im a sucker for the gibson/taylor/guild/gretsch etc big squarish headstocks especially on acoustics, but i still think a fender head stock is perfect for their body shapes.

even if you're getting that guitar at street price, you could still buy two or three Martin or Guild small-bodied all-mahogany guitars for the same amount of money, or a Larrivee or Eastman that totally demolishes it.

Now, I'm a fan of Fender Acoustics. Mainly because I love the Fender headstock design and their standard C shaped neck.
That being said, I'd never spend $3000 on a Fender Acoustic. I'll stick with the Fiesta Red Malibu I got for $100.

I hate the way that style headstock looks on acoustic guitars.
There, I said it.
