hello and bend with transistor parts

hello this is my first post here. I'm a long time fan and Im glad to see how much success youre having devi. IMO you have the most inspiring designs. I remember when you first came out with the boss os-2 warp mod, I was so impressed I spent about $20 to have ONE photo cell shipped to me and I bent my boss bd-2 pedal into this wierd overthetop fuzz wah pedal. this was back when I lived at home. My mother was pissed from all the sounds and the fact that I destroyed my birthday gift bd-2. I eventually sold it for more than she could've bought it for!
now what do you DIY'ers think of this? http://casperelectronics.com/finished-pieces/boss-ds-1/
a friend of mine came over last week to show me his boss ds-1 which he bent up to those specs. It sounds really good. Bending with transister parts helps cut out the constant feedbacking tone typical of 99% of all circuit bends. It really got me back into bending, I haven't done it in a few years, I don't know why Ive never experimented with transistors, but its really sweet sounding.
