Pickups are "Fidelitrons," oddly not using Gretsch Filtertron trade name when FMIC has Gretsch guitars in the roster.

Not just "Fidelitrons", but "Fideli’Tron™" pickups. Other than the incredibly stupid name, that's really hot.

Cool, I've always been intrigued by Cabronitas, but I've never had a chance to play one. I'll definitely pick one of these up when I see one in store.

I do wish they had a tone knob though.

They are all listed at $699 and it says the pickups are TV Jones Filtertrons.
It also says it comes with a hardshell case which is a nice bonus for the price range.

Did anyone of you ever play one? I'm really not that crazy about them. The filtertron is too much single coily than i expected. Normally these tend to sound thinner and more boring than normal teles. So i really don't care anymore.

if it's Mexican, I'd never pay that much for a MIM tele.

A cabronita is one of the first things on my GAS list, but absolutely wouldn't buy it without trying it first.

Also, I get weird looks from everybody when I mention its name. Cabrón is a spanish bad word with a lot of meanings; like badass, skilled, hard, abusive and much more.
