I need an awesome overdrive/fuzz

I really love the sound that my Champion 600 makes when it's cranked all the way, but I can't get that sound with my larger amp (Pignose G60 or something). Could you guys recommend an overdrive or fuzz that I'd keep on most of the time in order to get something close to that sound?

Honestly... I had a pignose and it sucked balls. I'm sure they can sound good, but for the money vintage peavey is where it's at.

Damn, I got it a while ago for like $200. Aaaaand, it may have been a gift, so I kinda have to work with what I got.

Try the Tech 21 Blonde (or the VStack Tweedy) for OD. If you can set the amp clean and kinda flat, that will give you a Fendery dirt.
Or get rid of the champ and try the Vox AC4 -- it has an attenuator so you can run it at 1/4W. Great for the money. Not very Fendery though.
Fuzz? That's a can o' worms right there.
What's your budget?

I thought about getting a fuck for a while, but I really want to try before I buy. I tried a tubescreamer and didn't like it.
The blonde looks cool, but I night ditch the pignose and get a tweed deluxe clone.

I just ordered the parts to build a Barbershop clone. Pretty stoked to try it out and compare it to my fuck.

the liquid gain Hydra is sweet. I wish I could afford one, but priorities are in the way. But with the risk of sounding too TGP, you could always check out a TIM. they get loads of praise.
