So I'm trying to sell my AC15 on craigslist for $425. I got an email asking if it was available, and I said yes. Here's what I got in return....
"I am quite comfortable with the condition of the item. I will add $70 to the purchase price... for you to hold it for me, Please provide your FULL NAME, HOME ADDRESS or A PO. BOX and Phone# so that I can send your payment. I will be paying you by certified check.. It will take 2 days for the payment to get to you...As for delivery, I will make arrangements for the pick-up after you have received payment and it has cleared your bank,If this meets your approval, kindly get back to me, as soon as possible, with your FULL NAME,HOME ADDRESS & PHONE# where payment will be sent.As soon as you have your money in hand, we can talk about the pick up of the item."
Is that a sketchy reply? I mean, I've dealt in cash off craigslist before, but never something like that....it seems a bit off, but maybe I'm just paranoid? Idk maybe someone could help me out here.

Notice how he says "the item" and not what it actually is? That's usually a sign of a scam.

it seemed off for sure. I feel it's best if I just leave this one alone and avoid it.

I've had one like that before, and just didn't reply. It's definitely a scam. Hate it when that happens.

If they come off as bat shit crazy or so eager that they want to pay you RIGHT NOW IMMEDIATELY, I avoid it.
