How to...

Alright, so I have two questions:

I was going through old gear etc. and found my old EHX Metal Muff with Top Boost, and an 80's DOD Stereo Chorus FX65.

The Metal Muff has a problem, when you turn it on, it just hums. No idea what is wrong there. (I don't really care because I didn't like it anyways and got it for free.) but I was wondering if there was some way I could make it into a reverb pedal or something. Where can I get circuit boards etc? Is it possible to do this?

The Chorus... I feel like it isn't intense enough. I was interested in the idea of "tweaking it" a bit. Does anyone have any experience messing around with old DOD pedals?

Get me the DOD schematic and i'll tell you what to change.

There are a few DIY reverb boards, can't think of what though right now.

There's a few DIY reverbs using the Belton brick.
