Whenever I power on my dispatch master, it makes a faint high pitched noise. I emailed Jamie today, but I wanted to see if you guys knew anything that could help. It seems to increase when I roll up the tone knobs on my amp and guitar and when I roll up the mix on the pedal. Anybody have this problem or know what's going on?

How are you powering it?

I'm using an Enercell 9V DC adapter with 300mA.

I know this is an old thread, but was your problem ever resolved thebordox? I'm having a similar issue and I think it's just the power supply. I might have to upgrade to something a little bit better (voodoo labs, t rex power supply).

Disclaimer: I don't have a DM, but here are some thoughts that may or may not be helpful!

The Dispatch Master utilises DSP, and in my experience any DSP pedals are really sensitive to the power they are fed, and oftentimes don't play nice with other pedals. Visual Sound 1spots are super cheap and very clean power. If it sounds dodgy with a 1spot and no other pedals in your chain, and you are certain that your instrument cables are good, then your pedal might be misbehaving.

Edit: If you want to run multiple pedals then an power supply with isolated outputs, such as Cioks DC8 or Voodo Labs is the only solution. A 1spot is great for daisy chaining pedals, but if you have a pedal that is a bit fussy with regards to power supply then you'll hear this when you daisy chain other pedals. Non isolated power supplies like the Cioks Big John, or Dunlop DC Brick won't help and are in my opinion a waste of money.
