All Pedal Builders Ceasing Creation! 07/01/12!!!

OH MY GAWRD CAN'T YOU NOT BELIEVE IN THIS!?
I was just thinking hypodermically today that WHAT IF pedal experimentation/invention STOPPED and no new pedals were going to be created ever again? Like whatever has been thought up and built so far was IT. Pedal production would still continue, but there were no further "new" (as in sounds) pedals to be produced ever.
If said and said such a such were to happen, what would you be sad that was never created? And I don't mean like a time travel fuzzbox or something, I'm talking some sound that you've always wanted or needed that has never been and never will be (according to this doomsday scenario) given life. Even if it's as simple as "I've never found that perfect fuzz." or "Always wanted a delay that could do *whatever*."
C
p.s. I don't have one myself, I don't think... I was honestly just thinking today about how some people (and it's totally fine) are constantly constantly going through different pedals and buying different gear... and me wondering what they're looking for, and what if there was never anything new anymore.
p.p.s. I'm not interested in the idea of WHAT IF pedals stopped being produced completely... I think it would just become a bunch of disgusting hoarding. I'm only interested in the first question. Although, shit, we can talk about whatever we want, really.

there's one thing i don't wanna talk about 'cause a bud's s'posed to build one for me, but i'd be bummed that nobody ever did a four stage pedal that was od/fuzz -> trem -> delay -> reverb. one tap tempo linked to the last three, an expression input for each section.
fuzz exp = mix
trem exp = rate multiplier
delay exp = subdivision
reverb = room
little switches to turn all expressions to separate controllers or run off of one or any combination of separate/together.
that........ that would make me HAPPY.

I feel like that'll never happen, even outside of this doomsday thing.

If we can put a fucking robot on mars then fucking good polyphonic tracking is possible!

If this thing is guitar friendly, give me one.

Um, I know it's not perfect, but have you heard of a Line 6 m13? A lot of the dirty, etc. are not great, but being able to control anything with multiple expression pedals is pretty tasty.

I want the flanger to end all flangers. Two separate analog delay lines (for TZF magic), with full controls of delay time sweep and offset and separate lfo speed for each delay line, plus I want the delay time to go up into the 30-40 ms range so I can do chorus jawnz as well. Basically, two Cluster Flux's in a box. And it also better have stereo ins and outs, and do some cool stereo panning shit, too.
oh and to bring back what I said in the "dream pedal" thread, I want a good up-to-date more-tweakable version of the Space Station, too.

I would be upset that no one made this

- Frequency specific tremolo is a great idea
EDIT: I probably should explain how this works in my head:
essentially a normal tremolo, but instead of a depth control, you have depth sliders for frequency ranges. If you keep the sliders at the same height, it sounds like a normal tremolo, but these controls would allow you to do things like set the treble to a gentle tremolo and have the mids throb in and out while the bass stays untouched. You also can't see it, but there's an internal switch to make reverse the envelope on the rate control (pick soft, and it goes fast).
