soo I just got this pedal yesterday. when I plugged it into my signal chain and with the pedal OFF (bypassed) my signal/sound is thin (no lows) and quiet. like very noticeably so.
when I engage the pedal ON and turn the volume all the way up it sounds alright again. so the only way to use this pedal as it is, is always on and volume fully cranked.

I opened it up to take a look around, but since I know nothing about this kind of shit, I cant tell if anything is wrong....
note the resistor hanging off the switch, that is attached to the metal of the switch itself? theres also another wire on the right side middle lug just under the black wire that is doing the same. not sure what that is all about.

i'm posting cuz i figured someone here might be able to help spot a problem w/ the bypass? or if someone would be willing to take a stab at fixing/fiddling?

thanks!

Can you snap a pic of the whole pedal? I can't quite figure out where all the wires are going. O.o

The stuff soldered to the metal on the switch is just going to ground.

That lug on the output jack... is it touching the corner? It looks like it could be just barely touching, which can cause that problem.

otherwise, I dunno. That's a weird switch layout.

na doesnt look like it, its got a pretty good clearance from the wall.

yea weird right? i was looking at mad 3dpt diagrams yesterday, and none of them were even close to the way this one is wired up, good to hear someone who is knowledge on this stuff say the same thing.

thanks for taking a look tho mcspunkkz!

on closer inspection, theres a tab on the output jack that is like super close to the pot underneath it.

i'm gunna investigate a little more

That switch setup is as weird as those jacks.
