Bluebeard Fuzz, Etching, and a Thank You

I posted this over at TB but since at least two of the three members are here, I thought I should post here as well...

A quick story… A little while back TB member Dharmashawn ran into some problems with a bass trade that I was able to help him out with. During this time I was in contact with DannDubblewe for some etching work on my Bluebeard Fuzz. Fortunately Dharmashawn’s bass trouble was worked out and behind the scenes; TB member Dharmashawn, I Love Fuzz members Behndy, and DannDubblewe communicated so that the etching was given, as a gift to me, for what I had done. Nobody had even said anything until it was revealed today as a surprise! So this is as much about saying “thank you” to them as it is showing off my first etched pedal.

It’s really incredible what strangers can do for each other. For me, this pedal is a reminder of that…

So here it is! Sanford and Sonny Bluebeard Fuzz #399. Dan really does some fantastic work! He also did the inside as well as the back cover. That’s Redd Foxx (Of the TV show Sanford and Son) and the color should be obvious…

That is a sexy, sexy pedal man.
The story just warms my heart.
Karma is a wonderful thing.
I want to get my Siamese Beard etched, but I'm afraid to have t leave my hands.

Two differences between ratio and interval performance are well known: (a) Higher rates occur on ratio schedules, and (b) ratio schedules are unable to maintain responding at low rates of reinforcement (ratio “strain”).
