Wow that's awesome. I get the impression the rate isn't supposed to be random though, which makes it kinda iffy if parts have already gone bad to that extent.

Meh, if I ever had surplus money I'd buy all that surplus ehx stuff, working or not. They've done a lot of different things and if they archived all of it, balls would die. It's a good aesthetic up until the XO stuff...some of it's okay, but the big box game was their's.

Already? After nearly 50 years? It's done well to not need a service yet, if anything's wrong it'll be the electrolytics & tantalum caps going (20 years is a reasonable life for them).

I think it is meant to be a fairly useless random effect though so it's probably normal, I didn't do much research in to this one back when I was doing my EHX shit as the descriptions made it seem of little interest.

Yeah, 'already' was a bad word, I forgot how old it was. If it's SUPPOSED to be random, then that's sweet, especially that it still works fine.
