Pick 2 of Pharoah, LSTR, Black Forest

Was hoping for some words of wisdom on BAT pedals.
I'm streamlining my board a bit and am hoping to have a basic dirt section consisting solely of the Black Forest for low gain + either the Pharoah or the LSTR.
My tastes are so varied I have real trouble with these sorts of decisions

I've got a Black Forest and a Pharaoh. So, that'd be my answer.
Black Forest & LSTR may be more versatile however.

I prefer Black Forest and Pharaoh as well.
I don't think the LSTR is more versatile but it's def more "muff-like" and will pull off the more traditional scooped tonez. It also packs more overall gain. That said, the LSTR only excels (for me at least) at super high gain settings whereas the Pharaoh sounds amazing low or high and anywhere in between! It also takes boosting and stacking better than most any fuzz/dirt I've tried, far better than the LSTR.
The Black Forest is superb as well. It'll go pretty high gain, could be a used as a standalone dirt but the real magic is it's boosting ability, pushing pedals or amps with great success. Fuzz, Vol, 6-Position FAC, highs, lows- these features make it an incredibly powerful/versatile choice, IMO, my favorite pedal for boosting the living bejesus out of everything and tweaking EQ while I'm at it.

No, you're right. I didn't choose my words carefully enough. Those two combinations make for totally different sounds.
I thought that more people would prefer the Black Forest & LSTR combo though. Looks like I might've been wrong. It all depends on the sound you're going for. I think the Black Forest & LSTR is more a a basic rock type of sound. The Pharaoh is extremely versatile, even on its own.
I guess it would help to know a little bit more about what sounds are required outta these pedals?

Extremely valid point sir.

A Sarcophagus-style pedal with a BF and Pharaoh would be something else. Not that into the LSTR but like all things BAT I am glad it exists.

BF and LSTR.
I didn't care much for the Pharaoh. It's cool, just kinda generic sounding and I had about 30 other pedals that could do that sound.
The LSTR is totally buzzy, beautiful, and powerful. Together with the Forest will give you the best tonal variety. and BONERZ.

I would only get the BF. And then something else more gnarrly.
LSTR and Pharao are good pedals, don't get me wrong. Just not "oh my gawd my dick fell off" good.

hahaha! Got me now
The problem is that my taste is also changing over the time...
Right now i would say (as counterpart to the BF) something MKI-like or Pep-Box or TAFM or VTF or AB-Synth or... (i left the unobtainiums out

)
That would open up the spectrum for me instead of doing all the way BAT. But i have no idea into what the musical direction the OP wants to move

I
had all three, and now have BF and Pharaoh.
Pharaoh does have a huuuuuuge range of sounds, but I think the eq can take time and effort to dial in.
I don't use them together typically. BF helps all kinds of other pedals KILL

I know you haven't been thrilled with the Fairfield stuff thus far univalve but you NEED to try The Unpleasant Surprise! Shit goes from supremely thick and mean, dripping with heavy to the most gnarly broken fuzz sounds imaginable. I love that goddamn pedal!

Schnikes is right... there is so many sounds available from the Unpleasant Surprise.
And, the Four Eyes for octave down broken speaker sound and more (this one also can do many awesome things).
