On my Digitech DigiDelay if you turn the "Repeats" knob to maximum it stops repeating altogether. Does anyone else have this problem?

It's not a problem, digi doesn't work in the same way as dd3 for example, where you get oscillating sound with feedback on max.
On digi, you can make loops this way,it locks delayed sound in loop when you turn feedback to max...
Put it in feedback loop and you'll get oscillation, works great that way.

Set repeats control on digitech at halfway, and volume,or whatever it is called, all the way up.Then play something into pedal.
Then,as the pedal is repeating, turn the repeats control slowly to max,and it should pick up the delayed sound and create an endless loop out of it.
Very much like older digitech dod sampler pedals, but you have to use yr fingers.
I remember that it worked in reverse, modulate and analog modes.
