Anyone noticing all their prices jumping up? Anyone know why come? I thought the Memory Toy was $80 when it came out and now it's $103...was I wrong? I know the Micro Pog jumped because I've had my eye on it forever. Did they make a statement?

They can't raise prices without making a statement?

They can do whatever they please...I was curious if there was some incite. A lot businesses give a heads up about pricing or retailers let people know. Remember when Fender jumped?

If you wanna argue business practices instead of incite to my question you can start a new thread or post here viewtopic.php?f=42&t=12806

Aw, I didn't mean to get you all up in arms, I was just sayin' that they're not required to announce price increases.

Maybe they thought no one would notice?

Maybe their material or labor costs have gone up?

Maybe they're long overdue to raise prices and've been trying to keep 'em low fo' as long as possible?

Maybe Mike Matthews needs higher quality weed?

Maybe I don't wanna argue business practices?

You could always inquire to EHX directly. Maybe you will or won't get a straight answer?

that's nothing compared to DBA's echo dream price rape. literally went up $100 overnight because they think it's a product that's worth more than the original $320

Holy shit did it really?! I would've bought it if I knew it was that cheap when it came out. I think I expected it to be that price. I guarantee he was building it and just got mad and was all,"One hundred dollars more and I'll stop crying!". They are weird.

It's definitely too be expected that prices vary, especially from smaller builders that are one by three or less, but factories...why come you change prices? Maybe for the workers to get raises...

Raw material prices and the exchange rate have gone to absolute hell, and well, EHX and others were going to raise rates sooner or later.

I'm waiting for the next wave of "anything Japan" price increases as they continue to rebuild from the tsunami thing.

I bet Mike Matthews would make the most epic price increase announcement of all time if he chose to do so.

I can almost see it now, EHX batteries flying everywhere, hair metal bands, and the triumphant reunion of say, Survivor.

And I say Survivor because I forever associate EHX with the Electric Mistress their guitarist kept pawning/selling at the local shop in Chicago.
