Gas for an overdrive? WTF?

Diamond's new overdrive. It scares me that I really like the sounds in this video, and despite not needing (and hardly ever using) an OD I kinda want it...

that's a lot better than i expected. it's got a nice Marshall-y warmth with the gain cranked up, and is surprisingly effective in the lower gain range as a dirty treble boost. they're doing some good stuff.

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm on an expression pedal bender I'd buy some Diamond gear. You could do so much with the Halo if the LFO (and not the speed) could be controlled by an expression pedal (or a Broadcast or something).

Not the biggest fan of the low gain sounds, but all the mid and higher gain stuff has a really nice marshall vibe.

I'm pretty sure that popintothechemist on youtube, that man makes some of the best demos tone and playing wise.
