Toro y Moi
Baths

What else is worth checking out?

IDK if you'd consider Cocteau Twins dream pop, but they're dreamy and I like 'em a lot.

I do. Yea, I haven't explored their full catalog like I've needed to.

I have a hard time determining what's dream pop and what's not (and with music classifications in general). So, I apologize if I recommend anything which does not fall within the confines of dream pop. I'm not sure any of these are really dream pop. I just know I like 'em. That being said:

Mazzy Star
Galaxie 500
A.R. Kane
Young Marble Giants
Rose Kemp (only some elements of dream pop, but she's totally badass)
Ghost (I like 'em a lot even though I guess they're more psych than dream pop)

I'm not a great fan of Catherine Wheel, but I've been finding myself wanting to listen to this song a lot lately:

Yea, it's hard to categorize. For me there is a blurry line between dream pop, and shoe gazer.

So, are you looking for stuff that's closer to the poppy end of the spectrum or stuff that's leaning more towards the shoegaze end?

Probably more poppy. I'm doing a short film thing, and I'm needing something along those lines.

Fun fact: The other day I found out that Yo La Tengo means "I got it" in Spanish. I didn't even use the internet to figure that out. A Spanish girl that I work with told me
