i dunno if i'm nuts about the basic flanger sound, but i like the way it can span the chorus<->flanger range and it does some really interesting stuff in its extreme ranges.

When I first saw "dual flanger", I thought for a second that you could blend the two flanger signals together, which would let you do through zero. Then I watched the vid and saw that you can only have one or the other on at once. :sigh: Oh well. That would have been cool.

That is precisely why Tortuga has always irritated me.

Yep, I thought the same thing. Honestly as much as I love flanger, the whole through-zero thing is something I could do without. I have the Jack Deville Mod Zero and it has a SERIOUS spike when going thru zero, so much that it's unuseable in a live setting - almost threw the speakers out of my cab during a rehearsal.
This sounds like it's useable through the entire range (which I'm a big fan of)

Interesting, the through-zero on the Flanger Hoax actually has a bit of a volume-dip, but it sounds awesome. Sounds like the signal is being sucked down a black hole. That's why I love it. The FH really is fucking awesome, I just wish it was 1/3 of its current size, and worked on 9v.

I think this about pretty much everything cool EHX releases.
For some reason I hate Tortuga effects. I don't care how they sound they just irritate me. This flanger irritates me because I actually like the sounds.

I know why it is now. It feels like their pedals have been designed by a committee. The features committee (featuring lawyers) and the hipness committee (featuring accountants).

Didn't expect much, but this sounds reeaaally nice. But for me, all Tortuga pedals sound pretty great, but don't have enough controls. I'd much rather have a couple of extra knobs to change the sound than 2 footswitchable rates.

That sound nice, but nothing special (just the regular flanging sound).

Yep, I WISH there was a width control (kinda need it for a flanger) cause that's where the magic happens.
