Might be trading my LP for a /13 AC-30 clone. Sounds fucking fantastic. What's the consensus around here on these amps?

he makes awesome sounding amps that are very well built. i've never tried the model you refer to but he's a top notch builder.

I played a 17/29 (or whatever. 13/29?) last month in a shop and it was outstanding. Would definitely buy if I had the money.

It's an ERT-33. Finally got it. It's the best amp I think I've ever played. Here's a low-quality demo of me jamming over Autumn Leaves after 5 or 6 beers.

The top of your amp might not be the best resting place for your Icehouse though.
It would suck to fuck up a great amp with such a shit beer.

I have the JRT 9/13. Best amp i have.
Personally i would stay away from his amps that don't use the 5879 preamp pentodes.
I played some others (e.g. CJ11) and they have not this super huge sound.

Probably i will get a nother one. Perhaps the BTR (short head version of the RSA 23) with KT88. I think this will be (another) great platform for pedals.
BTW, the 1x12 of Divided by 13 are the shit. I have 3 of them and they rule: super bass response, pretty light and look just great.

It is super super loud. So loud, that is no problem to play clean over a fully cranked JTM 45 (the slowgold (see signature) recordings happend with this kind of combination). The wattage rating 9 and 13 is a joke. Don't be fooled by that.

They go pretty cheap used. 4 weeks ago one was in Germany for 1000 EUR listed.

Sounds to me like it was totally worth it.
