Thinking about getting a Bigsby B5 and vibramate to put on my HH Jag. How do you all feel about Bigsbys?

Bigsbys, as you might expect of someone who grew up on Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Jorma Kaukonen, and John Cipollina. you can do wonderful things with a Bigsby. and it's a bit of a lost art nowadays, so you can really fuck people up with it, too. especially people in your age cohort, many of whom have probably never HEARD that shit. bwaa haa haaaaaaaa

give it a shot. that's the nice thing about the Vibramate, you don't like it, just yank it. my understanding is that the B5 makes it a bitch to change strings, though.

I used to have a guitar with a B5. Yeah, at first it was a bitch to change strings, but it gets a little easier after you've done it a few times.

I had a Vibramate on my old tele for all of a day, before just installing the bigsby proper.
The adapter fit weird despite being made for teles.

I briefly owned a Gretsch with a Bigsby, and honestly it was my favourite part of it. I'm seriously considering the Vibramate kit and B7 for my old LP copy.

also Vibramates kinda do fit weird sometimes, BUT ain't nothing wrong with adding a big ol' chunk of aluminum to an already hueg chunk of aluminum for a bridge.
