Uh, FF, WTF are you talkin' about?

You need to be a little more specific.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Everything was so ... vague.

I'm interesting in this as well. I haven't had a record player in a long time and my records are just sitting there unplayed.

+1 to the Rega stuff if you can afford it.

But it really depends on what your price range is.

I mean, I have an amp and speakers for it, I'm looking for something hopefully like 100-150 range?

There are definitely cheaper record players out there. Any of the USB ones will do you just fine, and they'll allow you to rip records (if that's something you're into).

If you don't need it to be new, troll yard sales and things. There's a lot of really nice hi-fi stuff that ends up getting tossed-Pioneer is a good name to look for in that situation.

Get a Numark USB turntable. I like DJ tables because the weighted needle can regroove older, scratched records. I have that hooked up to my main stereo. Also, I got one of those old-timey record player/CD/cassette table tops for like $60 at Walmart/Target/whatever. Great device.
