The Unpleasant Surprise or Fuzz Factory?

Hi,
I would like to get a wild, nasty Fuzz but at some degree controllable.
i´m looking foward for a fuzz sound in the middle of the stooges´s "i wanna be your dog", lou reed´s solo on "I Heard Her Call My Name" (i known that these songs were played with a fuzzrite and a tone bender but i would like to have some gated sounds too) , but i tried for a couple of hours a fuzz factory and it´s a little annoying the self oscillation and the synth-esque sounds. I have interest for the demos that i see in Unpleasant Surprise, but due my imposibility to try it, i don´t known what to choose¿?
any idea?

Ive played both, and I would definitely have to say unpleasant surprise.
It gets so far out there, but at no point can you not control it. I could definetely see it doing the stooges, it does dirty trash fuzz so well without being obnoxious.

i'm not a big fan of Zvex stuff. seem a tad overpriced to me. i LOVE the Unpleasanto though. so good. and WASASASAS is right. goes to some angry, dark, Tell Me Where The Bad Man Touched You places....... but always has enough control to bring it back.
there's a little vid of me playing with the Onset knob for some of the toanz on bass here........

Fuzz Factory is useful for the things you don't like about it.
