I prefer the shell pink Tonerite; the contours are better suited for offset guitars.

Yeah, I'm not sayin' it's my preferred method for breaking in a guitar, but apparently it's some people's.

Technically, yeah, that sort of thing kinda sorta works, more on acoustics than electrics. But is that gonna resonate all 12 notes or just an E flat but flat by 10 cents? It'll be really awesome when you hit that note, I guess. Folks who go in for this sort of thing normally prefer picking a fave acoustic CD on repeat and putting the new guitar in front of the speaker all day.
