Not as coveted as some, but they're fine speakers.
Is that $100 for the pair or $100 each?
I'm not up on current prices, but $100 for the pair would be a good deal assuming they're in good condition.
Why are you looking at old speakers instead of newer ones?

that's reasonable if they're in good shape.

i just had 2 of them crap out at the same time in my mid 60s bassman cabinet-they were original. that price seems reasonable, but perhaps they've been reconed? if they are original, the paper could be getting stressed. that's what finally happened to mine.

I will check if they are reconned

I don't really have that much experience with Utah speakers, but the internest is your friend.

My twin has utahs in it I love them.
They don't have the Blues lawyers approval but there's definitely nothing wrong with them
push a lot of bass compared to other types I've heard not as typical fender bright, at least with mine

i'm personally not that crazy about old speaker: i had to much that were sloopy, untight whatever - i would say at the end of the life cycle. but beside that i still have an old G12H30 Celestion that sounds good.
So in short, i wouldn't pay 100$ without hearing them before. New speaker are also good and not that expansive...

i have blown more utah speakers than any other. i do like the way they sound but i suppose i play too loud.
100 bux seems steep and as uni said, new ones aren't that expensive.

I doesn't want to constrain anybody to anwser, I mean it's a forum so if I posted , it's because I know people probably know more about me for this subjet,
Anyway thank you guys for you help

Gotcha, didn't mean to necessarily call you lazy or anything.

I don't think you'd go wrong with Weber speakers.
