Muffs: Tone Knob at 2 o'clock

Rat - everything on 2 o'clock
Muff - volume noon, tone 8, sustain 3 o'clock
Muff - volume noon, tone 8, sustain 3 o'clock

Everything on 2 0'clock is a classic for the Rat or sure.
If you have the Muff tone knob at 2 o'clock where are you setting the sustain?

It's a Musket btw: Pre Knob at 9 o'clock and Sustain dimed, or Pre Knob at Noon and Sustain at 2-3 o'clock. Focus is usually always at noon and Mids are at 3 o'clock unless I'm feeling weird that day.

Rat: Volume cranked, Tone at 11 o'clock, Distortion at noon, roll back to 9 o'clock for OD.
Muff: Volume cranked, Tone cranked, Sustain Cranked.

it really depends on the muff, but with the one I have now - everything cranked.

Definitely the former. I have a pretty bright amp, but I find that with the volume cranked, I rarely lose low end with big muffs. And a bunch of speaker cabinets.

RAT: filter knob all the way down (max treble)
MUFF: tone knob at about noon, maybe rolled back to 11 o'clock
