How would you have a pedal in an effects loop of another pedal but then be able to keep it either in your chain or in the loop? Make sense? Loop, A/B?

I can't think of any way to do this without like four A/B/Y's,
UNLESS...
...somebody made a loop pedal with a bypass switch that would activate the pedal just not in a loop. Hell, that might already exist.

Like a Chk Chk Boom with a Loop Mute? I know the CCB uses a toggle, but theoretically you could use a stomp for that...or did I miss it?

That's what I was thinking

Yea, so lemme explain.
I'm thinking of getting a deluxe memory boy and sticking my particle delay in the loop to have granular chopped yet analogy repeats. But I also use the particle regularly. So I wanna either be able to use the Particle by its self, or in the loop.

seems like you might be able to kludge it by turning either the Feedback or the Delay all the way down. then you theoretically should be able to have the delay--and thus the feedback loop--on but without the delay chip processing...you know, like you can turn the Feedback all the way down on the MOD setting on the Flashback and use it as a chorus setting?

I believe I've been pondering the same kind of batching problems with fx loops within loops, and I haven't yet found an answer that takes next to no space in the pedalboard, isn't expensive, and doesn't force me to rearrange the pedal order too much because of a buffer that would tame down fuzzes.
Splitting signal like that is likely to make an issue about the differences in signal levels. If You don't mind a buffer in there, You might try out using BOSS LS-2 for loop switching, because it's got a vol pot for both channels. Or any such switching device.

Is the particle delay stereo?
Well, I guess it doesn't matter as a splitter would work. An A/B box where loop A goes to the Memory Boy and the memory boy loop goes to 1 of the split inputs of the particle delay, and the split output returns. B goes to the second input/output of the splitter/stereo in on the particle delay.

Retroman Kopy Kat has an effects loop that has a switch where you can toggle between only effected repeats or the effect in the direct signal with
unaffected repeats, that might work for ya.
