So I can't seem to find any infromation about this, but do any of you know if Tokai ship to the US at all? Please let me know, Im dying to get one.

I'm pretty sure there's a used one at a store near me... at least, there was the last time I went in. What model are you looking for?

i have two Tokais; i bought them off eBay through overseas retailers. one was in Japan, the other was Richtone Music in the UK. Richtone don't list Tokais much on eBay any more--i think they may have gotten in trouble for selling to the US--but if you check their website you might have better luck. i don't think Tokai ships to the US per se; their stuff infringes on too many Gibson, Fender, and other patents and copyrights.

also expect to get slaughtered on the exchange rate buying from overseas...i was lucky in that i bought the second guitar in April of 2010, before the dollar started dropping like a stone.

Yeah, used's a better bet.

Richtone appears to have dropped Tokai, possibly as a condition of becoming a Gibson retailer.
