I know I've seen 'em in the show us yr amp thread. For some reason, I think NewarkWilder had one, but he hasn't been logging in that often for a while now.

Not to dissuade you from going for the Swart, but I've been wanting one of these since they first dropped.

I've actually looked at that, Chank, but I'm leaning towards the Atomic Jr for the 'verb and just how small it is...easy to take on vacation or whatnot.

craiglist_reader has some (aka Muff Wiggler - here are pics of his amps: http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewto ... torder=asc ). probably he writes something about them - he loves them and runs his synths trough them.

a friend of mine is still waiting for one for a test. so do i. really stoked to hear that amp and compare it to my divided by 13. no idea when that amp will show up...

i'm not really into the Carr Amps. they sound good (or call it very good) but i think they are too pricey...

Yeah, the Swart looks nice. Looks sturdier than the Carr. (I never use reverb. So, that wouldn't really sway my decision.) I think you should get the Swart.

Carr makes some incredibly nice amps, built like tanks with all that fancy ptp wiring. Haven't spent much time with the lower wattage stuff but had a Slant 6V head/cab for a long while, gorgeous cleans and slightly dirty tones and so very good with pedals. Half power options were nice too but that amp was loud and sounded better run that way. Never had one single technical issue, ever, plus it had a lifetime warranty in the rare event that it does.

But yeah, those fucking things are CRAZY expensive new! I got a really sweet deal on mine, too good to pass up really. That said, I sold it recently because it could fetch more than enough to fund 3 new amps and I wasn't using it much. A local guy picked it up, worked out well. Great amps but buy used!

As for the Swart, they look/sound cool from what I've seen, never tried one myself. Received two offers on my Carr from the likes of TGP that both involved trades for Swart Amps though, oddly enough...

You could also take a look at the Bogner Duende.

I have the 1 X 12 combo version... it sound awesome... glassy fendery clean. nice tremolo and reverb.

For portability, they have a 1 X 10 version.

Those Bogners are quite a bit more expensive and weigh twice as much as the Swart.
I'm still weighing options, though.
