Listening to my whole music library in time order

From shortest to longest. This is going to take a while. Been at it for about a week, and only at 1:03. I guess its all the grindcore/noisecore/powerviolence that's brought me to this point.
Anyone else done something similar, or listened to their music in a certain order?

alphabetical by song title. didn't make it through, though, i think i was in the middle of S or T when my mp3 player got stolen. it made for a neat mix, someday i might try it again.

Ah man, that sucks
I agree, this time thing (at least for the time being) is a really neat mix, and is holding my attention by being really short. I'll have to try alphabetical next!

This is such a good idea I just started it and I'm going to do my best to stick with it. 362:06:49 could take a while, can't wait till it gets to real songs after all the <1 minute intros and intermissions and skits and stuff.

That's like a week of 1-2 minute songs.
LET'S DO THIS.

I have been listening to 1-2 minute songs for HOURS. At 1:32 now, there is a loooooong way to go before I hit 2 minutes... At least it's nearly all short songs now and most of the skits/live banter/little filler noise tracks are done.

EDIT EDIT: Oh, I bunch of my shit got corrupted so this just got easier.

I just started thinking about listening to everything, because itunes says it would take 23 days. I have 23 days.

My finals would be a solid one-two of Boris - Absolutego and Fantomas - Delirium Cordia.

mine is something like 30 days, and I DO NOT have 30 days.
I'd like to listen to everything sort of chronologically, but I guess that's impossible.
maybe I'll listen to all the 30's, 40's, so on and so forth in alphabetical order by decade.
it's just comps that span a decade or more that really make this idea tough.
no way I could do the shortest to longest thing. I like grindcore...for about 20 minutes, once a month at most.
then I need to chill the fuck out. I'm old.

Hahahaha wow. I'm still going strong! Listened to 4.4 days of music in a bit over 2 weeks and I'm at 3:36 in song lengths. It's good times right now because it's like doing a random shuffle only skipping out the songs that are annoyingly short or too long for me to be bothered listening.
