I've got a #68... there are many things i like and there are a few things i don't enjoy that much...

the sounds are absolutely gorgeous :) hard to get sometimes, but awesome anyway. Surprisingly, i absolutely adore the Ring mode... i haven't had any experience with ringmods, but i fell in love with it instaneously
But here goes one of the main problems for me - the ringmod carrier signal is very loud. I prefer phaser in front of fuzzes and after OD, but with the carrier signal, it sounds quite awful :(
so the chain now goes Fuck OD -> Fix'D Fuzz (lately mainly Fuz:2!!! it sounds amazing with the ringmod) -> Whetstone -> Pharaoh, so i can get the best out of both worlds

Even the simple phasing is very pretty and i really am able to at least partially mimick the Sovtek Small Stone i replaced with Whetstone - so everything good... tremol-esque and leslie-ish sounds are easy to achieve, vibrato sounds more natural than on my Digitech PDS 20/20... analog vs digital, right? ;) The least usable for me is the Fixed mode, maybe for some special effects during recording, but live? no way...

Frankly - haven't bonded with it properly yet. I've had it for a week, but it might be because it's kinda complex... it sounds wonderful though :)

I know you say you prefer it after fuzz, but have you tried it after? I generally dig Small Stone-type phaser after dirt. I know you've had a Small Stone before, but yeah...

Is it a v1 model? I've got a v2 one and love it I recently snagged a big box q tron+ and when I run them together it sounds so chewy.

Yep, an early V1 it is :) i PM'd Kyle about the mod that should get rid of the carrier signal, so hopefully i'll soon be able to enjoy the maximum out of it :)

Zounds - yeah, tried it after...
a) the ringmod doesn't sound the same i think
b) phasing is too pronounced for me :idk:

so i'd really like to use it in the front :idk: it's kind of my preference about the chain order

My only gripe is that unless I switch it on before I turn my amps on it makes a rather loud popping noise
the first time it is switched on.
