Wren & Cuff - they're good.

Had two recent extremely positive experiences with Wren & Cuff pedals. Tall Font Russian was the first - dead quiet when engaged, instant grunge (more a tight distortion than a wild fuzz) without the giant enclosure or shitty bypass. Not good for anything I'm doing at the moment, but definitely one hell of a fuzz/distortion. Tri-Pie was the second - very pleased with the big low-end, smooth sustaining leads, and grinding chords. Lots of usability in the tone knob, too (not always the case). So, yeah. Good job.

I've got a Phat Phuk. Nicely voiced boost.

Been wanting a Box of War.

Have a Box of War (and a Pickle Pie B on the way, should be here tomorrow) and it's the first Muff fuzz I have really bonded with. Plus it looks so cool, and they just seem like a good company.

I ♥ my Pickle Pie B with a passion. It does doom like a fuzz should, but more.

I admit to wanting a box of war 100% based on looks. 100%.

I honestly wanted my Pickle Pie to have some kind of silly pie with a pickle in it graphic, or a dick in vag graphic or something. but the puke green works too.

i am very interested in the TFR...i don't particularly love Muffs, but that one has something special about it. i've listened to a LOT of demos, and that's about the only Muff clone that makes my big toe shoot up in my boot.

I dig my Box Of War so much I'm really wanting to try the rest of the line. Dig the Phat Phuk B, too.

I seem to remember someone saying something about buffer weirdness. Do you notice anything about that?

I've had the TFR and I currently used the box'o'war, and have experienced no buffer weirdness.

How does the Tall Font compare to the Box of War?
