Recommend me some duos!

So, I showed one of my drummer buddies Univalve's awesome Analog Pattern Robots, and now he wants to do a duo project with me, but he needs some inspiration from a drumming perspective. Obviously there's DFA1979 and Analog Pattern Robots, but what are some other recommendations?

Two of the most famous have to be the White Stripes and Black Keys, although I'm not sure how inspirational they are from a drumming perspective.

I really like Blood Red Shoes. Not rmuch like the stuff you listed, but the drummer is good imo and they sound great live with just 2 people.
