I've got a snowdrift up for sale at $200 inc worldwide postage. but don't seem to be getting any interest. do you guys think Im overpriced?
I payed 200 plus postage so thought if i included it id be in the right ball park?

One sold last week I believe for $175 pretty fast. If its worth $200 to you then wait it out, if you want a quick sale drop the price. Really up to you. It only takes one person to agree with you to make it worth $200.

When the trade wants are specific and it's more up for sale than it is to trade, it can take awhile. And fuck, it's only been like 24 hours or so looking at your FS thread... be patient.

don't get me wrong this isn't a why hasn't it sold yet? Question i appreciate its only been up a short time its just that the pedals up for sale on a few different forums with a few hundred views in total across the boards with no sort of interest at all hence Im wondering if Im over priced? Im certainly not desperate to sell it but if people are reading the thread thinking cheeky knobhead he's no chance! then ill do something to sort it??

It's not overpriced but it's not really at a price point that inspires an impulse buy either.
If you do get bites it might take a while.

If you don't mind waiting keep at it...if you need the cash soon I'd lower the price.

It's a good price for a rare pedal, but I agree with what's been said above me, it's not impulse buy territory either. If someone has the money and it's what they want, then it'll get sold.
Put it this way, I'd have your hand off for it if I hadn't just lost my job, I've been after one for ages but can't justify frivolous purchases right now.

It prolly has a lot of views because people go looking at Laura Bennett's artwork. I have one and I viewed the thread just to see what yours looked like.

Yea no ones buying anything. Maybe it's all the NAMM news?

Also, I think we've got to the point with pedals where people will pretty much only buy if it's a KILLER deal below (eBay) market value. Maybe due to market saturation. Maybe due to tough Econ.

FWIW, I think the pedal looks great but I'm pretty strong against international.

I think your prices have always been fair (hell you gave me a killer deal on that Algal Bloom that I had been QQ'ing about missing when you first bought it) B/S/T has just been slow the past 3 months. The market as a whole has been slow. A lot of people are still tapped out from Christmas OR still analyzing what they got during the holidays. I have some stuff on craigslist at super good prices but I can't get it to move either.

I'd say the market value is closer to $175 shipped. I feel for you overseas guys with the American pedals because I know shipping (and sometimes duties and fees) are more than they are for us here in the States. The used market does seem to be a bit saturated right now, and I bet folks are a little tight on funds after the holidays too.

Nice looking pedal though, and as stated above, I have one already, but looked at yours just to see the paint.

Another issue with the over seas situation is the exchange rate. Europeans are paying more for the same pedals due to that when looking at an international stand point of buying/selling second hand. I remember when I was looking for a hand painted digilog only 2 shops still had them one was in switzerland and the exchange rate would have required me to pay almost $500! Luckily after calling all of the shops I could think of, one of them ended up having some they forgot about

Sold mine for around £175ish locally. Nothing is moving in BST lately. I've sold lots more locally.
