I won't make claims to be brilliant with tuning my drums but I'd like to start a thread collecting information about tuning drums.

I've got a drum dial and have been playing around with it.

This thread is relevant to my interests. I'm setting my kit back up in the near future...

I was going to keep posting drum tuning videos but I just got a message warning me I'd be banned for video bombing if I posted any more back to back videos. Oops! I didn't know that wasn't allowed!

Nah, I think that only applies to when you copy/paste the video a million times.

This is the warning I got......
"Forum rules
Stop video bombing--no repeat duplicate embeds. Some people have rationed internet and pay for data used. Stop or get temp-banned. Thanks. --Tom Dalton"
I don't think I made any repeat duplicate embeds, though. I feel like an outlaw. I've never received a ban warning on a message board before! Gee. I guess if I were going to get banned I'd at least want to have some fun earning that banned status and feel like it was worthy!

I get that message on the main page without going into any subforums, I think it's just a notification thingy across the forum.

So maybe I am just getting a generic warning message that everyone gets but that I hadn't noticed before?

Drum dials are pointless.
I think the Ocheltree video you posted is pretty good, but Bob Gatzen is the king when it comes to tuning.
