How can I make this thing awesome? I alos thought about just making it a volume pedal which is very easy. If I was to do some mods to make it a nice wah what would you guys suggest?!

If you can source a General Guitar Gadgets board and populate it/drop it in, I definitely suggest it, really versatile with a ton of options. Also, Madbean just released a new Mojo wah type deal that you could drop in. I know you're into mojo

There's an epic thread at freestompboxes.org in the Pimp My Cheap pedals forum. The big take-away is that you can make one awesome without resorting to mojo inductors or unobtanium capacitors. The taper on the pot is probably the only thing worth fussing about getting a specialty part, and I'd still fuss that last.
