Lets see em. Your favorite, stunning-in-its-simplicity pedal/schem/layout/whatever.

I'll go first, with the Bazz Fuss.

Craiz, you beat me to it!

The Bazz is my all-time favorite simple circuit. :thumb:

But just for fun, I did one up that is more complicated than it needs to be.

It's the "Bou-Bazz" (boutique bazz):

step 1) buy expensive patch cord
step 2) lend to friend for show
step 3) recover from friend and plug in. you are now all set. if the color and or length of the cord changes inbetween steps 2 and 3 dont worry, that means for sure you are getting a quality effect.

The Noise Ensemble is high on my to-do list. (The "Shambler" build with a YT vid is really killer.) A bit trickier than a Bazz, but pretty elegantly simple for the chaos of which it is capable.

I built that Shambler! I made another one recently that sounds way better that sticks to the basic schematic. Very heavy drugged out
fuzz. I made another one for a guy that let's you do a full wet mode and added some switching to enable a very weird vibrato sound that
I found by accident. Although it's definitely a little more complicated than a Bazz, it is probably my favorite fuzz sound because it's so
fucked up sounding. On lower notes the sound has a doubling effect that can give you a vomiting sound and the higher notes can get really
scary and eery.

The Noise Ensemble and the (unclean) Clari(not) both have that ability to reach for warped, fuzzed, damaged, psilocybic places. Definitely not your average middle aged attorney's dirt box. Not until the average middle aged attorney is obsessed with MBV and Medicine, anyway.

I just recently scored a huge room practice space where I can properly crank things. The fun stuff lately has been some Clari(not), CA Ring Mod with some fuzz in the loop, Noise Ensemble, and when I feel like getting really warped I'll kick in the Echobase. Sick sick sick.

Buzzarounds and Dizzy Tones are pretty simple, as well. I etched Madbean's Buzzaround board and that has been one of my favorite
fuzzes for awhile. I built a Dizzy Tone last week and like more.

remember the single transistor boost thread. it did yield some good results and a learning experience. you can put a voltage divider on the base to make it turn off on the zero crossing. this gives you a half wave rectifier. if the signal coming in is loud enough (or the transistor crappy enough) you can also get headroom clipping.
