Anyone up for an "ILF Sings"?

I found a few of these /mu/ sings videos, and thought it'd be fun to do an ILF sings.

Doesn't even matter if you don't have a good mic, or can't sing. Just have fun with it, haha.

What I mean by /mu/ sings:

I was thinking maybe Smashing Pumpkins (Cherub Rock or Today would be fun). Anyone interested? Song suggestions?

Also, if we do this, everyone should contribute a guitar track using their favorite fuzz. Be it big muff, fuzz face, or some glitchy synthy nonsense pedal i ain't fuckin' heard of.

Hm. Editing would be a bit tedious, with the added guitar track, because they'd have to be very carefully mixed. If we had drummers and bassists willing to lay down the track foundations, it'd be much easier, because there wouldn't be interference from the original track's guitar tones already mixing in.

If you guys want to completely cover a song, and have a chorus of vocals and guitar parts switching in and out, I'd be down for trying to edit that, but my netbook might not be able to handle that many tracks going at once.

We'd want to start with a drum cover, then let bassists work over that, then the guitarists, then vocals.

Fantastic! When you get the opportunity, if you can record a drum cover, and soundcloud/sendspace/mediafire it, so we can have some bassists work over it, that would be fantastic!

Is the song fixated? Which one should I record?

Oh. Uh, good point. Should we run a poll, or does Cherub Rock work for everyone?

And I'm not sure what you mean by fixated.
