What: making those three high-end rolloff caps switchable
Why: Because it's awesome
How? That's where you guys come in.

What kind of a switch do i need for this?

you put the smallest of the three caps in like normal. the other two caps go directly on the switch. it can be SPDT or DPDT but it should be ON-OFF-ON if you want it have 3 settings. caps add it parallel.

this is how you do it with SP6T but its the same principle for SPDT. all the caps get connected at one end. the center lug on the switch goes to the effect. in the picture here, I repeated the input cap wiring with a set of output caps on SP6T again.

EHX uses an electronic switch to do it. It's triggered by a regular switch, but yeah.

You'd need a 3PDT switch.

What you're doing is removing the little capacitors that go from the collector to base of each transistor-- except the first one, I assume.

The easy, but sorta sloppy, way is to lift one leg of the cap, solder one wire to the leg, then one wire to the board where the leg used to be. The solder the wires to the switch (one wire to the common (middle), and the other to one of the outer lugs. Then just repeat that 3 times, using one pole of the switch for each cap.

The slightly nicer way would be to remove the cap from the circuit, and solder both wires right to the board. Then, take the cap and solder it across the common and an outer lug of the switch. Then, solder the wires to the outer lugs of the switch. Then just repeat that for the other 3 caps.

... I hope that made sense.
