What i get out of it is it passes it through a BBD or something, but doesn't mix that back in with the dry signal. am i getting it right?

ik delays very little bit, adds some dirt, is completely useless in most of the forumites conclusion, First I heard about it, it seemed like a great idea, but too expensive imo..

Apparently it imparts it's own magical "creamy analog tone" to any digital effect. Oh, and doubles as an overdrive. Sounds great on bass they say.

I'd go ahead and leave that one be...

It just adds a bit of BBD style grit to your signal, ever use an analog delay with the delay all the way off so it's like a Pre-Amp? Bit like that.

Except you can add a very small amount of delay for more 'room' I guess plus a slight thickening of your signal.

There's a demo by the EHX Bill Finnegan guy, seemed to do what it says on the tin, he uses it with a Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazari, makes it sound more analog delayey.

OK, let me get this straight, I buy a crappy digital delay and a shitty overdrive, figure about $75 apiece and then this box for $104 and everything sounds all analogish. OR, i could get a Disaster Transport Jr and an Algal Bloom or Tone Reaper or Pharaoh.....

It could more analog if there was nothing... That's pretty analog I suppose.

sounds pretty cool to me, adds some different colors for just about 100 bucks. i love the lbp-1, one of the best bang for the buck pedals i've ever played. i might give this a try--as is often the case, it probably will have uses not suggested by its name. this could be a sleeper.
