Recommend me a crazy C/V control pedal....

Sup dooooooders.....
I'm looking for some kind of crazy C/V control pedal. It's gotta have dual outputs, be knob based not footpedal, and have weird options. I'm ideally looking for something that i could maybe assign both outputs to one knob but have options such as turning the knob up increases one c/v output signal and the other decreases (so if full clockwise c/v 1 is at max and c/v 2 is at min, and reversed at full counter clockwise), but with the flick of a switch i can have both operating off the knob identically, or any other crazy kind of concotions. I'm probably going to have to either build one or have one built but do any of you guys know of any production pedals that can do something along these lines and not take up an exorbitant amount of pedal board real estate?

I can't think of anything like that in production. The Moog MP-201 can do most of that, but it is foot-treadle based. I bet Adam from Copilot could make you a custom Broadcast that could do all of that, though.

Yeah thats what i keep hearing i was just hoping maybe some noise guru hear would have some kind of off the wall insider pedal that he (or she) could recommend. I'm actually thinking of building one myself as one of my first pedal projects so that i could incorporate all the crazy ideas i got going on in my head. I'm currently using 2 foot-treadle pedals for when i use the board with guitar but sometimes i use it for synth or vocals and would like to have some hands on control of the cray cray.

Look into Eurorack modules. Modular synths have every kind of thing you can imagine.

Moog CP-251 is probably as close as you'll get for something stock if you don't want to get the Moog MP-201.

I could build that... or help you build it... You could make it µ-Controller based so you can save presets, do some pwm stuff 'n shit..

See those are close to what i want, but a bit tooo much for what i'm going for. I'm thinking i will probably just have to make what i'm looking for. One huge knob, a bunch of toggles and 2 c/v outs, full analog. Shouldnt be too hard. If i find it will be beyond my capabilities then i will probably shoot Co-Pilot an email. So far i've got basically 3 pedals i HAVE to build for this board, a multi option (xlr + 1/4) input booster w/ low shelf, the c/v controller, and a multi option output box (stereo in's, w/ stereo out, direct out [both x/r + 1/4] and output level controls)

I thnk i've dug my foxhole too deep.

I might have to shoot you a PM, i'm not looking for presets. Just something really basic with one knob, 2 outs and switchs for options, trying to stay away from digital if possible.

Oh... ok..
But the cv-ing would still be analog. I meant stuff like pulsing the outputs and fun like that. But if you don't need that you could just wire a pot and a bunch of switches and would have the reverse/non reverse thing going. I could make you a schem if you want.

That would be awesome my friend, i don't need the pulsing options because the c/v will actually control the pulsing modulation on the pedal i'm using, the other ones controlling the phaser rate. I just want a simple controller to plug in to it so i can adjust 2 pedals with one knob so i can focus more on what i'm playing / vocalizing. basically something like the picture below but with toggles for options and housed in a 1590bb enclosure.

I'm attempting to build a pedal board that basically turns whatever i plug into it into a basic analog synth with ambience effects added. I'm going to be building also a basic preamp style pedal with clean boost and adjustable low shelf boost with a buffer and selectable inputs (1/4 or xlr) and then i gotta build my output pedal so that i can do simultaneous direct out as well as stereo or mono outs for the power amp with adjustable output levels. It's gonna be complex but ultimately flexible for gigging and touring, because depending on the show / jam i use multiple different instruments from guitar to synth and or vocals and currently i have alot of issues with input level if i plug my synth or mic into it.

Here you go:
just slapped that together in paint. A stereo pot and two dpdt switches. All you need.

Your the man my friend! I'm gonna order the parts this weekend and see what i can slap together. So i only need regular TS not TRS jacks?
*edit* NVM

I figured it out.

The closest thing I know of is the Pigtronix expression pedal. It has dual out, reverse polariity so they go go opposite directions...but it's a rocker...not knobs.

Make sure to order the pot with the right value. 10k would be fine, but most expression pedals have >100k pots in them. You should look into that. The pot acts as a voltage divider, so the value shouldn't normally be a problem. But ya'know... you never know what those people thought when they put their pedals together.

Well i know that Moog EP-1's work great with it. I will see if i can dig up what value pots are in those (i believe i read somewhere they are 100k). Thanks for the tip!
