So...how many here are dating or married to another musician?
My girl is a bass/violin/noise maker and classical composer...how cool is that? Best part is she totally understands GAS and the need to fiddle around with toys for hours with out interruption. The worst part is that half the time I wanna go play she's already in there working on something....
It's pretty cool being with someone who wants to go look at amps and not doilies or some shit....hmmm, that reminds me....gotta get some doilies for the amps!!!!
EDIT: She has seen this post and now insists I refer to her as a "multi-instrumentalist" and would like to amend the phrase "classical composer" to "just a composer"......she's still hawt though....

no excuse for renting the sappy, chick flicks and nonmasculine movies
no one to cook meals with/for
no one to help you shop for shit like clothes and furniture

My girlfriend (3 years today, actually
) is a musician. She's an amazing singer/songwriter, though she's primarily a vocalist. We do covers together during the summer (I can link if anyone cares).
I've tried not to gush about her on here because I don't want to be
that guy, but I'm going to here, because I fucking can, but I'll nsfw it.
I'm going to spend my life with this girl, no doubt about it. I've never been more happy, more comfortable, or more at home than when i'm with her. She gets my jokes, and even when she doesn't, she humors me. She makes me laugh every day. She's the best friend I've ever had in my life. She makes me want to take care of her, which is nothing like how I usually am. She likes my cooking, too. And she got me a ring for our anniversary today. It's engraved on the inside. She got it large because my size is weird, but I still haven't taken it off. Goddamnit, today was a good day.
Thanks forgiving me an excuse to get that out.

Unownunown, it's only forever once you have decided it is and it's only sad when you put so much emphasis on being part of a couple and so little on being happy and complete unto yourself. The only people I have ever met who maintain happy longterm relationships are those that were happy, complete and satisfied first...

i was only half srs guys, i'm actually pretty content right now! but, that's truth if i've ever heard it. nothing is worse than people getting into relationships without having themselves somewhat sorted out. that's how those creepy/bad codependent relationships take root!

you're right there..the only thing worse than people jumping into relationships cause they think they should, so they won't be lonely or to "fix" themselves are the ones who run around complaining about how they will never have anyone and how sad/great it is to be forever alone....of course your fucking alone...all you ever do is whine!!!
