I need to decide between a turbo rat and a kalamazoo. I know they aren't close to being the same pedal, but I'm trying to combine the sound of band of skulls and black keys to find my own sound. What do you think I should do?

Kalamazoo seems like it would be a bit polite for those applications IMO. Isn't that PGS clip a lot of Hoof?

ya and I have the hoof which I love. He is using the kalamazoo for the drive though. Basically, he is stacking the zoo and hoof for those tones.
