Speaker cab input buzz

So I've had this problem for a few weeks now. I just decided to attempt doing something about it. Playing through a Carvin head into a 4x12 with EHX speakers, I've had this buzzy hum that just appeared one day. I isolated the issue and realized it's the input on the cab. I can even jiggle the cable, and when I turn it towards the little part that sticks out and contacts the tip the cable, the buzzing stops. I can even get it to stay like this up until I start playing and the vibrations knock it out of that "sweet spot." It doesn't seem like it's making more contact with the input at that point but I'm not sure. :idk:

I've tried bending the part towards and away from the cable with no luck. I disconnected the jack from the cab to get a better look and there didn't appear to be anything wrong/bad connections. Any thoughts?

maybe you should just replace the jack. A high quality jack isn't that expensive and with minimal soldering skill it is easily doable. If you don't have a soldering iron/ aren't into DIY maybe you can have a friend help you out.
Also- have you tried a different cable yet?

Yeah I tried multiple cables with same result.

I do own a soldering iron. I'm not great with it, but I think I can handle this.

great! you should probably get a "high quality" jack like a neutrik or switchcraft.
