I know it's a longshot, but have you guys heard of any snazzy fx clones? Or can anyone make one? I'm looking for a tracer city and a wow and flutter but don't have the $400 a piece to pay for them. Can someone make something like them for cheaper, or do you know of any cheaper pedals that are like the tracer city?

I'm not aware that any of the Snazzy pedals have been traced, so I doubt there are any schematics available from which to make a clone.

If somebody has one and wants to allow one of the FSB pirates to have a look inside, it might be possible to come up with a straight clone or a very similar work-alike.

well the wow and flutter is a funny story, there is someone who helped him design things over the phone not knowing that it would eventually be part of a real company with real products. so the guy that helped feels like someone stole his ideas but its all bullshit. that guy was not holding his hand when he was designing PCB's and designing the circuit from scratch. so anyway, there are at least two pedal builders that have similar items but none of them have been traced. I think if you like the wow & flutter, just buy it. the tracer city however, is very similar in concept to the 4ms triwave picogenerator. there are schematics and kits available. I was going to build one on stripboard but I'm waiting for a huge piece of strip to get here.

If I (or most others) were to build a clone of one of those pedals, it wouldn't be any cheaper...so why not just buy one?

I was gonna say the same thing.. To have someone build you a clone would be mad spensive. Might as well just pick up the OG.
