A band I have had the great fortune to get to know over the last 6 months or so.
http://www.dwarfcraft.com/artists/group-altosGroup of the Altos. For my money, best album of 2011.

NO SHIT!!! DAN SPACK!!!
About 5 years ago, I had just quit my job and went to visit some friends in Milwaukee who I had gone on tour with a couple years earlier.
They happened to live in what appeared to be an old department store that had been converted to a living space with none other than Dan Spack!
He and I even bought matching Speedos and wore them to Rocker Sam Vinz's 4th of July party at Lake Mills.
He's a really nice guy, glad to hear he is doing well.
The album sounds rad too.

Ok
and I totally mean this a compliment
although I realize most people wouldn't take it that way
but...
I was in love
until they started singing.
But that's just the mood I'm in early 2012.
