That guy is a mega douche, but has some very nice things. In one of his other videos he has an amp that is pretty nice. I super hate him though. His voice is upsettingly smug.

The guy is Holger Obenaus, a professional guitarist turned photograph.

English is not his native tongue, I guess that's the reason why his attempt at sounding mysterious misses the mark.

He made a couple of great films about famous luthiers which were supposed to be released as Gourmet Guitars. After two volumes the project was canceled.

But instead of keeping most of the already filmed material to himself he put on Youtube. That's not what I call douche bag.

To finance his new business as a photographer, he sold a lot of gear on ebay including most pedals.

So sadly the candy store is gone.

P.S. But I have to agree, that his pedal videos are incredibly boring.

I got that he was german. just find it funny that he decided to try and speak a southern almost texan american dialect. so you have people american find to sound funny talking like americans that the rest of america seems to think talk funny combined into creepy molester voice.

No offense to those guys who collect pedals, but even if I could afford a ton of pedals I wouldn't hoard them. It's insane to have stuff around you don't use.
