Is the body, and neck thinner than normal on those?
Yes, slightly not always to a disadvantage, on mine the body is definately thinner, the neck has a different shape but I cannot guaruntee it is the original neck (body is definately an affinity)
The one difference with the neck is that mine has a maple fretboard that is glued on to the neck instead of a maple neck/fretboard with a skunk stripe,
Plays nice neck has a good feel, takes abuse really well and I don't mind leaving it out and about for kids to poke around on.
